Join the Upcoming Retreat
Six days of complete immersion in the conditions that make deep sleep possible.
There are things that cannot happen in a single appointment or an online course. Deep nervous system reset. Complete removal from the environment and patterns that have been perpetuating poor sleep. The kind of stillness that comes from spending six uninterrupted days in a place of extraordinary natural beauty, under the guidance of physicians and practitioners who understand sleep at every level.
That is what the Nidra Sleep Retreat is.
6-Day Sleep Transformation and Yoga Retreat
December 13 to 19, 2026 | Yelapa, Mexico

What Is Included
The retreat is held in Yelapa, Mexico, a remote, vehicle-free village accessible only by water taxi on the Pacific coast of Jalisco. It is not a spa weekend. It is not a yoga vacation. It is a structured clinical and contemplative experience designed to produce the kind of sleep transformation that is difficult to achieve in ordinary life.
Each retreat includes:
Daily Yoga Nidra and guided meditation sessions led by Gillian May.
Morning movement practice and breathwork.
Evening nervous system wind-down rituals.
Educational sessions covering all Five Foundational Pillars™.
Individual consultation time with Dr. Brodner.
Two physician-supervised deep relaxation sessions.
All meals, prepared from whole, anti-inflammatory, sleep-supportive ingredients.
Accommodation in a private or shared room in Yelapa.
Water taxi transfer from Puerto Vallarta to Yelapa and return.
Full access to the Member Library for six months following the retreat.
03The Daily Plan
The Daily Plan
Each day follows a carefully designed schedule that works with the natural rhythms of light, temperature, and activity to restore circadian alignment while simultaneously addressing the nervous system, behavioral, and environmental pillars of the Nidra Sleep Pathway™.
The retreat schedule is built around sleep biology. Each day includes:
Morning: Sunrise movement practice and breathwork designed to establish healthy cortisol rhythms and anchor the circadian wake phase. Followed by a nourishing breakfast prepared from whole, sleep-supportive ingredients.
Mid-Morning: Educational session on one of the Five Foundational Pillars™, covering the science and the practice in depth. These are not lectures. They are interactive, clinical, and immediately applicable.
Afternoon: Free time for integration, rest, swimming, and gentle exploration of the Yelapa environment. Individual consultation time with Dr. Brodner or Gillian May is available during this period.
Late Afternoon: Restorative yoga or somatic movement practice.
Evening: Physician-supervised Yoga Nidra session followed by a wind-down ritual using light, sound, temperature, and scent to prepare the nervous system for deep sleep. Dinner is timed to support blood sugar stability through the night.
04What to ExpectYelapa was chosen deliberately. There are no roads.
What to Expect
Yelapa was chosen deliberately. There are no roads. There are no cars. There is no artificial light pollution. The pace of life is defined by sunrise and sunset rather than screens and schedules.
For most guests, the first two nights alone produce measurable improvements in sleep quality, simply because the environment removes the primary physiological obstacles to deep sleep: artificial blue light, ambient noise, electromagnetic interference, and the invisible pressure of a schedule that never ends.
The ocean. The jungle. The sound of the water at night. These are not incidental amenities. They are part of the protocol.
The retreat is for anyone who is serious about their sleep and ready for an immersive experience. It is particularly powerful for:
People who have been struggling with chronic insomnia and want more than an online course can offer | Professionals and executives in high-demand roles who need to reset at a deep nervous system level. | People who feel they have tried everything and want the concentrated support of a physician-led sleep restoration program | Those at a significant life transition who want to use the transition as an opportunity to rebuild the foundations of their wellbeing.
No prior yoga or meditation experience is required. The retreat is designed to meet people exactly where they are.
